General Information About Excursion

Croatia`s great food, beautiful countryside, popular wine, and long history make it an excellent country to visit. During this tour you will be able to  discovering the many unique flavours that make up an area’s culinary identity.


Upon arrival at Zagreb airport private transfer to the hotel in Zagreb. Your English speaking tour guide will assist for all you may need during your stay. Have a relax in your hotel before dinner in one of the most famouse restaurant where your palate will enjoy in traditional croatian cuisine bringing together look, smell and taste in one.


A very Good Morning, hope you sleep well! It is time for breakfast and then late in the morning please join your local guide to explore this beautifull city.  The centre of Zagreb is divided into two parts: Gornji Grad (Upper Town) and Donji Grad (Lower Town). On the sightseeing route you will see the main symbols of this magnificant city.

Late in the afternoon you will attend to a culinary class where you will transfer the knowledge and experience of experts in a simple, user-friendly, accessible and fun way through education, counseling, preparing and cooking food in the center of Zagreb.  Here you will learn about how prepare traditional croatian dish from North of Croatia and at the same time enjoying in wine degustation and yes it will be a lot of fun!

 Overnight stay is at the hotel in Zagreb. Have a sweet dreams!

Perfect morning for next adventures. After check- out in your hotel, slowly ride to first stop and it will be National Park Plitvice Lakes. Upon arrival to Plitvice Lakes meet your local guide for a private walking tour of the National Park, one of the most beautiful natural sites in Croatia. Plitvice Lakes are a unique natural phenomenon - 16 picturesque lakes which are connected by a number of cascading waterfalls. Travertine barriers, which are made in the period of about ten thousand years, are one of the fundamental features of the park.

 This is so marvelous place, so why do not have lunch here in this paradise? Enjoy in one of the local restaurants near National Park sourounded with bird songs and breeze. Dobar tek!

After lunch the journey continues to so called “capital of Dalmatia” - Split. Take a rest and then slowly walk to a restaurant to have a dinner. We know you will enjoy it.

Did we mention new adventures? Oh yes, late in the morning we will take you on a half an hours drive to Trogir where you will meet your host and start your coolinary adventure. First you will visit city green market where you will assist to choose fresh organic  vegetabels to make a traditional Dalmatian lunch. Dalmatian cuisine is very simple and healthy, and is prepared in a special way. You would not believe what magic can be made with some olive oil, garlic, pepper and salt.

Our cooking expert will decide about meal when you see what is the best you can get amoung the fresh local ingredients.

 After you made a Dalmatian lunch and degustation late in the afternoon we will take you back to explore Split Old in a pleasant walking tour with your local guide.

Split is the main cultural and economic centre of Dalmatia and the second largest city in Croatia. The core of the old town is the famous Diocletian’s Palace constructed by Roman Emperor Diocletian 1700 years ago.

 Time for relax where we will take you to a one of the local restaurants where you can continue to enjoy in Dalmatian cuisine. Buon apetit! Overnight stay is at the hotel in Split.

Slowly ride to the pearl of Adriatic, Dubrovnik. On the way to the Dubrovnik we will make short break in Ston,sit 50km northwest of Dubrovnik on an isthmus that connects the Pelješac Peninsula with the mainland. Here you will learn about shellfish farming that dates back over 100 years and enjoy the tasting of fresh oysters and mussels just taken out of the sea. Sailing in a boat, enjoy the untouched natural beauty of the protected eco system of Mali Ston bay. The entire experience also has an educational character where you will also learn how to gather oystersand open them in the midst of an oyster farm and enjoy tasting it.
After tasting, local lunch at the restaurant in Mali Ston. Mali Ston, a little village and harbour situated 1km northeast of Ston, was built along with the wall as part of the defensive system. 

After lunch we continue to your hotel and time on leisure before dinner at one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Overnight stay is at hotel in Dubrovnik.

Morning on leisure. At noon meet your local guide at the entrance of the Old town for a private walking tour, spend same unforgettable moments and get an insight about the domestic food and rich history of Dubrovnik known as ''Pearl of the Adriatic''. Dubrovnik is among the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world and in 1979, it joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. It is less know for its amazing local food. Discover hidden riches of Dubrovnik local specialties and local wine in our tour.

While discovering these beautiful sights you will have few stops along the way to rejuvenate your energy by enjoying various snacks and wine tasting and where you will finish this fun food and history tour at beautiful local restaurant. Late in the afternoon we will to proceed to the top of famous hill Srdj above Dubrovnik to enjoy amazing views of the whole Dubrovnik area and the islands.

After you make some photos we will procced to the village near by where you will attend on another cooking class where tameness and beauty of the village calls for peace and comfort.

Here with your host you will prepare dalmatian „peka“ a blend of vegetables and meat drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with herbs, and then baked to perfection under a bell-like dome.
